A note to myself of 3 years ago:
"Plant-based junk food is still junk food"

I finally caved in.
I agreed with my girlfriend.
I needed to go see the Doctor.

Get some tests done and see what was up.

My stomach was round and distended.
I was working out, but it had no effect.
I still had to iron my T-shirts on a wok.

  • My snoring would challenge a Rhino's,

  • I had trouble concentrating,

  • My anxiety was sky-high,

  • I was tired all the time,

  • I had sleep apnea

The list goes on... But first...
I was going to change my diet.
Get a few healthy eating months in first.

I had previously tried them all.
All the usual fad diet suspects:

  • keto,

  • paleo,

  • alkaline,

  • carnivore, etc etc.

None lasted long.

This time I went plant-based.

But, my diet quickly became a blur of convenient, plant-based ultra-processed foods.

They're plant-based so they gotta be healthy, right?

𝙍𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩?
𝗪𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴!

Soooooo full of crap:

  • unpronounceable chemicals,

  • industrial fructose,

  • saturated fat,

  • emulsifiers,

  • trans fats…

Soon, I felt and looked worse.
The blood tests confirmed that.

𝗙𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘄.
I became a certified Nutrition Coach.

I turned my training on myself and have totally reclaimed my health.
I don't iron my t-shirts on a wok anymore 😉 

My training confirmed what I had learned from my own painful experience:

What DOES work:

  • 80% of the time:
    Eating a variety of colorful whole foods.

  • 20% of the time:
    Relaxing a bit and being human:

Eat what feeds your soul!
Do this and you'll do great!
