Q: What's behind most of the leading causes of death in the western world? 👇

A: The Western Diet. AKA: The Standard American Diet (SAD) 🙁 

The western diet contains:

  • a lot of fried food,

  • low fruit and vegetables,

  • added high fructose syrups,

  • primarily ultra-processed food.

and is causing epidemic levels of inflammation, insulin resistance, and obesity resulting in millions of deaths from:

  • stroke,

  • dementia,

  • liver disease,

  • hypertension,

  • heart disease,

  • type 2 diabetes,

  • various cancers

This leads me to a couple of questions:

  1. How can we fix this?

  2. These causes of mortality are often reversible too. How?

The answer to both is simple:

Eat. More. Real. Whole. Food

Add more movement, better sleep, and stress management and we would eradicate this plague of lifestyle-related deaths.
